To be eligible for the OCCRS examination you need to meet one of the following educational and professional experience requirement combinations:
Option 1: Bachelor’s degree or higher, 2500 minimum working hours in cancer clinical trials and detailed resume/CV highlighting job description (members’ fees: 360 CAD) – Exam is 125 questions
Option 2: Holding certification in good standing whether from CACRS or other clinical research association (members’ fees: 180 CAD) – Exam is 60 questions only

*Nurse submits an application using an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse (AOCN) program a 2000 hours may be waived from working experience. A copy of certificate must be submitted including name of program provider, program title and date attended.
